Mission The Collaborative Workgroup of Educators in Gerontology (CWEG) is striving for excellence of gerontology in higher education, applicable in diverse demographic, geographic, political and cultural contexts in Europe. It is our vision to be an inspiring workgroup for like-minded educators in gerontology in higher education which: • Mutually shares experiences with respect for local contexts, cultures and values • Continuously develops powerful learning environments and possibilities for applied research • Helps to strengthen gerontological education • Collaborates with allied organizations Furthermore, we coordinate teaching and research activities that we discuss during our annual meetings.
